Marie-Josée Prevost Ph.D.
Member of OPQ since 1987, Marie-Josée Prévost obtained her Ph.D. from Université de Montréal and a Master in organisational development from Laval University in Quebec. She has had a carreer in mental health public services (CLSC, medical clinic, outpatient clinic, hospital).
Trained in Behavioral Cognitive therapy, she now practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrating mindfulness and schema therapy to better meet her clients’ needs.
Her clinical experience focuses on difficult life situations such as personal and profesionnal burnout, adaptation disorders, relational difficulties, grief and loss, emotional and behavioral regulation difficulties (stress, anxiety…), anxiety and depression.
She helps adult clients of all ages adjust to new roles and life transitions, adapt to new life circumstances, rise to the difficulties and challenges they meet and to best face up to the problems of our human condition.
