George is a 2011 graduate from the McGill University Counselling Psychology program. He is a licensed counselor psychotherapist with the Ordre des Conseillèrs et Conseillères d’Orientation du Québec (O.C.C.O.Q.) and with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (O.P.Q.). George has worked for an Employee Assistance Program and, since 2015, has been working as a psychotherapist at McGill University.
George has specialized primarily with the adult population but also works with teens. He offers his services in English and in French.
George practices primarily from an Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and self-compassion as needed. However, as everyone’s struggles are unique, he tailors his approach to meet clients’ individual needs in the present moment. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship/family difficulties, substance use, burnout, work-life balance, or life transitions (to name a few), he will work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals.
