How are the group supervision meetings?

Supervision is important!

We all meet clinical challenges that may require tailored support. ACT supervision is an effective way to develop and maintain your skills as well as to deal with a one-time challenge in your practice. Our supervision will help you see your problems from a different perspective to help you move forward with your customers. If you wish, we offer you the possibility to analyze all your clinical consultations records.

We offer group supervision as part of our supervised clinical training program, as well as the demand for existing groups. You can also order a  36 hours block of group supervision in the “Monitoring” section.

The meetings are on the Adobe Connect software (free) and are always on Tuesday mornings from 9 am to 11 pm (Montreal time). Benjamin is often present on the platform at 8 am 50 to answer your individual questions and to resolve technical problems, if any. A 10-minute break is scheduled during these meetings.

We recommend that participants have access to a fast internet connection and a recent computer for optimum efficiency. In order that you wish to participate in these meetings in your workplace or home, please note that the presence of other people on the internet (wifi wireless) can slow down and affect the course of trade. Also, a headset (headphones and microphone) is required to eliminate background noise and possible reverberations.

The number of participants in the supervision group is limited to nine (9) professionals per meeting. Thus, we invite you to reserve your spot as soon as the schedule is available. A reminder will be sent prior to each meeting you have confirmed your presence.

Are workshops presented by international guests in French?

Workshops offered by international guests are presented in English. We offer a simultaneous translation system for francophone participants available at the time of your purchase in the cart section. This service is included in the initial price of the workshop, no additional charges will be applied.

The documents presented at the workshop will match your choice of language during registration (English documents for original presentation registration and French documents with simultaneous translation purchase). Can ACT be applied to all customers?

ACT can be used as a therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as training (Acceptance and Commitment Training). More than 130 randomized controlled trials research indicates that ACT may be helping for all mental and behavioural health challenges. There are also indications that ACT can enhance athletic and professional performance and participate in building and managing teams. Through the Matrix, ACT becomes even simpler and easier to spread and can be used with everyone.

How can I integrate the 6 steps in my clinical practice?

You can start by downloading our ebook and practice with it. We designed it to be directly applicable and are sure it will help. You can also purchase The Essential Guide to the ACT Matrix book. Finally, nothing can replace a training in person or an online workshop. And as for all clinical practices, competent supervision is often useful to refine your skills.
