Deep and profound interpersonal relationships are key to a happy life. They are also at the top of the list of longevity factors and a lack of social connection is one of the main factors of mental disorder.
In this workshop, Dr. Jonathan Kanter will present strategies from Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), a contextual behavioural therapy approach that directly targets social connectedness using the psychotherapy relationship. It involves bringing out the best in our clients so that they can improve their ability to connect in their important relationships.
